Press Release Body = HEART ATTACKS The fear of a heart attack is very real to those with a family history of heart disease, but according to Dr. W.P. Neufold, M.D., sudden heart deaths and strokes can be prevented.
In his book, \"The Liver Causes Heart Attacks\", Dr. Neufold reveals the true cause behind this problem and offers some very concrete steps that can be taken to prevent future heart problems. He feels that when the body receives improper food, the liver has a strangulating control of the blood circulation, blocking the venous blood flow to the heart. This is why many heart attacks occur after the sufferer has enjoyed a big meal. It is the anaphylactic reaction of the liver that is to blame. \'Anaphylactic\', according to Dorland\'s Illustrated Medical Dictionary, means an unusual or exaggerated allergic reaction of an organism to foreign proteins or other substances\' -- in other words, allergies or sensitivities to certain foods provoke this dramatic response by the liver. A swollen congested liver impedes the return flow of blood to the heart.
Dr. Neofold states that, \"All vartieties of cardiac arrhythmias, including fibrillation, all varieties of vascular myocardial damage from focal or diffuse subendocardial coagulative myocytolysis to transmural coagulative necrosis are simply due to ischemia (insufficient blood to sustain life), dependant in part or altogether on the intensity and length of the anaphylactic reaction of the liver. Allergists also agree that in an acute anaphylactic shock, up to 60% of the blood volume can be held out of circulation by the liver.\"
All this points to the importance of detecting hidden food allergies and learning how to correct these imbalances. Allergic foods are like a poison which can temporarily paralize or detstroy a good portion of the liver cells.
Once the liver is damaged, Dr. Neufold recommends a short fast of one or two dyays to cleanse the body of foreign protein, chemicals and toxins by ingesting two quarts of water, fruit or vegetable juice every 24 hours (taken with liberal amounts of honey, if tolerated). The colon needs to be assisted to help free it of all fecal residue and bacterial toxins by using natural herbal laxatives or enemas. The liver will not be able to begin its process of self-regeneration til the colon is freed of these poisonous, destructive toxins.
After the fast, he recommends eating two or three kinds of cooked cereals such as cooked rice, wheat, oatmeal or barley, herbal tea and toast. Six smaller meals are better than 3 larger meals. This diet should be adhered to for at least 3 to 5 days, depending on how the recovery is progressing. Four to six glasses of water should be consumed daily. An injured liver is able to metabolize cereals because some people react allergically to vegetables or fruit, and allergic foods must be eliminated from the diet. Cooked vegetables and fruit, any cereal, cheese and eggs can then be introduced, one at a time.
